Yes. Torchwood is a secret quasi-governmental organization (run by an intergalactic conman and beautiful man-slut from the 51st century) that fights aliens on earth, keeping them secret from the people and appropriating alien technology for human benefit. There is an underground base, and in that underground base, there is a pterodactyl. It came through a rift in time and was just too cute to send back. Also, there is a LOT of boykissing.
