CHRISTMAS FEAST

[Marco is simply fascinated by the Chocolate frog cards. They move! And they come with chocolate! This must be the greatest thing ever. That's until he discovers the Christmas crackers. Mostly he's in it for the fireworks-like display, but if someone doesn't stop him, he's going to try to find the other Gryffindor pyros and make a show with them. Also check out these hilarious hats! Awesome.]

[Russia had been walking by when he's hit by the sound of a minor explosion and is greeted by a small shower of confetti and glitter. He sputters, and simply stares at Marco in shock for a brief moment before he plucks some confetti out of his hair and laughs.]

Well I suppose that's one way to get in the holiday spirit.

GRYFFINDOR COMMON ROOM

[Japan had been startled as ever to discover a present under the tree in his name. A bonsai tree which he stared at with a bit of fascination before carrying it back to his room and setting it on the nightstand. Some time is spent up there, as the noise in the common room is a little too much for his liking, but eventually even his room is getting too loud.

Feel free to catch him as he's heading down the stairs to the common room, out to the halls, library, or outside-- anywhere he can get to try and escape the noise. Of course, he's still as nosy as ever, so maybe you spotted him because he was caught observing your behavior, or stumbling into something or knocking something over...]

Oh hey there Japan. [Catches him by an elbow when Japan is being clutzy and sets him back up right.]

Uwah--! [Whoa that had been startling, but he hadn't expected to be saved from that. Give him a moment as he reactions to the shock of 1) nearly falling on his face, 2) being grabbed by someone, and 3) being noticed or acknowledged at all.

Okay he's good. Or well he's looking at Marco now, at least, giving a flustered bow.]

HUFFLEPUFF COMMON ROOM

[ Really, Minako wouldn't be Minako if she didn't rush to the gifts the moments she spots them, excited enough to almost seem like a little kid despite her age as she franctically searches for the one with her name on it. Once she does find them though, she quickly rips off the paper - it's a good thing she got something she can't really damage or it would be ripped too by now - before she spots a glimmering yellow compact in the shape of a crescent moon.

She still seems happy and excited, but there's something akin to surprise on her face as well as she stares at it now. ]

This is.. mine, right? How did this get here?

[Jade didn't know how these presents ended up here, but she had no qualms at all. In her hands was a bright and shiny new green acoustic guitar, and she was strumming it with a grand smile on her face.]

[ She stopped when she turned her head and saw the guitar, instead her mouth drops open. ]

[Tired-eyed, Austria is one of the first up, nibbling a cookie he stole. He blinks at the pile of presents under the tree-- strange, to not open them on the eve as he always does, like his people always have, but this is not Austria, and.... one of those presents has his name on it] Oh...

[Following closely behind Austria is another one of those early risers, Tieria. He went to bed early last night in order to avoid the crowd in the common room. It was too loud to read and he purposely wakes up earlier today, fully intended to catch up on some reading.]

You're up early. [He takes a seat in one of the comfortable armchair, completely ignoring the Christmas tree. He's aware of the celebration but he sees no need in them. Even back at home, he'd only joined the celebration to avoid disappointing people he cares about. Here, he has absolutely no reason to comply.]

[For Russia, Christmas doesn't happen till the seventh, so he's just chilling in the common room, watching the others go about excitedly opening presents and chattering among themselves.]

[Suzaku was up early this morning, despite having been up late last night. He was also quite happy, since this was the first Christmas in a long while that he'd be spending with the closest thing to family that he has.

He had spent the night in the Slytherin dorms, he and Lelouch, sipping hot chocolate and talking about nothing until the wee hours of the morning. Almost like when they were kids. And just like a kid who couldn't want to open his presents, Suzaku kept poking and shoving at Lelouch to wake him up.]

Wake up, sleepy head, its Christmas!
