Central Market's not much better in that field. WF is waaaay too overpriced as well, and I only get things there when I have to/need to. HEB FTW for my shopping, and I wish they'd start opening them out your way instead of overcrowding Houston with them and shooting themselves in the foot.

Tell me about it. I would love to have an HEB open near me. But, now that I have freezer, I reducing my grocery bills by buying in bulk.

Definitely! However, remember to count all of your expenses for obtaining that deer (including processing).

The wolfish one HATES Whole Foods he does. He hates it my precious. I'm friends with a girl [been friends for almost 20yrs]back after I'd first met her and we started hanging out I discovered her and one of her girlfriends shopped at WF often. I used to go shopping with them. Okay to say 'I hates it my precious' is a vast understatement. What you've just told me is that if anything they've gotten WORSE. thankfully she got married and came to her senses and hasn't shopped there in years.

Oh Bear, that's NOTHING!

Mr C found one of my LUSH shower jellies in the freezer and was ASTOUNDED BEYOND BELIEF at the price! (I told him I was making good money at the time and it was a treat. That did nothing to diminish his horror.)

At LUSH, the TINY bottle of hippy soap is something like $14, and did I mention that's the TINY size?

Sigh.
