But yes. I'm not really sure how the pretty-boy thing is anymore, or if there are any underlying tones for some. I've long since grown out of it, myself, so...mayyybe it's a phase? Some girls are too afraid of actual men so they want to fangasm over something a little closer to home? That's the nicest way I can think of it...and it still sounds insulting. Hurhur. :B;;
I dunno. There's something nice about guys that look like guys. Stubble, angular jaws, deep voices, muscular bodies...mmm. The only slightly bishie guys I can think of fangirling over these days are the geeky, gangly guys with glasses. But even they're not really pushing for the femininity. They're just nerdy and adorable to me.
Everyone is allowed to have different tastes, methinks. It's just silly of fangirls to get worked up when you don't like what they like, or vice-versa. I'd be thinking, "Pshpsh. More for me, then."

It is silly to get worked up over interests, but with lovers of manly men still in the minority, it doesn't hurt for us to speak up a little and say "Hey, we're not like the other fangirls, don't judge us!".
