Silly Girls
I know I risk offending the entire female fanbase for anything...but I fucking hate girly men. I really do. I mean, really. It seems like the girls that like them are closeted lesbians that say "Oh, well it looks like a girl but it isn't so it's okay if I pop a femboner to it". And they're like "well, you have bad taste and everyone you like is ugly so nyeehhhh". Ok. If you want to think that, that's perfectly fine with me. It doesn't hurt me that you don't think my lust objects are hunky, really, that's ok. But god forbid I say anything about Axel, Sebastian, or whoever else they're oozing over now. That makes me a bad person, apparently.

Ok. Now let's analyze what is wrong with this. First things first, the second dudes look like girls. If I wanted something that looked like a girl I'd go for a girl. And they have no inkling that they ARE male, other than the fact that apparently in anime dudes look like they haven't eaten in a million years. Oh, and their eyelashes are just a smidge shorter, and their lipstick is just a smidge lighter.
Now, as far as my current video game addiction, Brutal Legend, goes Lars is about as pretty as you can get in it, (without considering the creepy as all hell Lionwhyte). And even he has some nice abs and a manlier face...and a big sword. Also, unlike most bishounen, Lars is a strong leader. He leads with his voice, not with his fist, and he's very considerate of others. Most bishies are either whimping willowy blobs of fail or dark and tormented jerkasses who snap at the slightest thing. Makes me think that a LOT of girls are shallow and look at looks instead of personality.
Finally, if you like bishounen, ok, that's fine. But don't trash someone that doesn't or insist that anyone who isn't a bishounen is hideously ugly, (I've just totally proven you wrong there). And if I want to hate girly men, let me hate girly men. I let you put two girly men in awkward situations that would hurt a lot, so, hey, a little respect goes both ways, eh?
