Goodnight, Irene!
So Irene hated me. It hated my general locale, it hated my internet addiction, and it hated my dependency on electricity. My family lost power at 1pm on Sunday and we STILL do not have it back so I have been sleeping over at my aunt's house so I can at least be able to shower and catch up on the news. Other people in my area are also hard hit along with some people at work. We're all hoping that power is restored by either tonight or tomorrow so that A) we can actually be in our own house, B) I can actually sleep, and C) I can stop being forced to watch Miley Cyrus-alikes by my tiny cousin.
Oh, the new icon. Yes, a terrified 80's Glam Rocker is perfect for this occasion. You know, when I first started getting hooked on Brutal Legend, I only liked Lars. Then Doviculous started to grow on me...being voiced by Tim Curry and all. And the Killmaster also grew on me, with his gruff manly nature that is very TF2 like. And finally, the icing on the cake, this flaming idiot. Granted, he's a failure and an arrogant prick, but he is prickish in the manner that makes you love him. Kind of like the Spy...except less French and with bigger hair.
Well, I'd love to say a lot more, but morning comes early and I shall enjoy this milkshake :D
EDIT: As of 12 noon, power has been restored at my home...still...Four days without it. That's just ridiculous
