a/n: This is for a flash fiction fill but actually, it's not. See. What had happened was, I wrote a fill for Skywinder for Tracks and Sideswipe and courting set in Apple a Day, and I referenced a bunch of stuff that hadn't happened yet because I forgot that I hadn't posted that chapter yet. So. I need to post to get to that fill before I do

Um...that was nice of you, but I wasn't expecting it to be part of the series. :) However, I won't deny it should be interesting to see how you connect it. :)

I will say this as I forgot to at Ao3: I don't feel sorry for Skyfire. I like him, don't get me wrong, but he'd been working around Perceptor for long enough that he should have realized that Percy didn't have any interest in him. He saw only what he wanted to until he was made to realize that he'd been sadly mistaken.

But again, I thank you for not using that pairing, and I beg you not to make that a 3-some with those two and Jazz. I'm one of those who actually wouldn't mind it if Skyfire stayed single. Yes, I know that's strange, considering what my favorite pairing is, but I do have my reasons for it.

Oh dear. My bad. I thought you did and I totally slotted it in there because it made me giggle. I have Tracks giving poor Sideswipe some advice and then reminiscing on his own past and his courtship with a surprise, super rare pairing. My bad. But! I think it should be interesting anyway.

Ohhhh. You think Skyfire wanted to be with Perceptor? Actually, I didn't go that route. Though, hmmmmmm, now that I think about it, it does kind of seem like I was pointing in that direction, doesn't it? Ooops. Didn't mean to do that. No, Skyfire actually had paired up with someone else which is kind of a crack pairing that I'd seen before and thought was cute.

Now I don't know who Skyfire ends up with, if he does at all. I just wanted one of their relationships to not work out because it was a little TOO unrealistic for me and by that point, I realized Skyfire's was the only one I had explicitly stated was successful.

*laughs* No, I actually hadn't had Apple in mind when I said that, but since I didn't specify, can't blame you for thinking I did. :) I don't mind, though. It would fit, anyway

Doh. *headdesk* That was supposed to say that Skyfire's was the only one I hadn't said was successful. That's what I get for typing too fast. *shakes head*

I think Skyfire could be happy with the Autobots at some point, but given that the original series kind of had a habit of randomly dropping characters without explanation, we really can't see canonically what he might have felt. So we can only make assumptions. Which is why, I guess, I might aim a little toward hoping for something happier because I would hope that he does find something or someone who can help him be happy, even if it is in friendship at the very least.
