March in Overview

Mar 01, 2013 13:20

Primus, f-list. It's March already. Where the frag is 2013 going? Is anyone else feeling the crunch of time?

So far, on my yearly resolutions, I've completed two of them, and half-completed another two. And time is running steadily down. Phew.

March in a nutshell, cut to save f-list. )

critical mass, series: war without end, series: apple a day

It is. I like to be busy at least. :)

*gazes wide-eyed* at your list.

My current goal is to finish a rewrite paragraph on this TF:P piece I'm working on. Overall, the fic will be about 3K when finished, but it's taking me forever. Every day I've been working 12 hours and then dropping into bed and starting it all back again the next day after 6-7 hours of sleep. So I will consider it a success to get that paragraph eventually done, yes I will! :)

So I applaud your goals and plan on reaping the benefits of reading your finished product ;) (yay Critical Mass! yay War Without End! Yay Apple a Day!)

Small steps, darling. ;) The majority of my writing is done on my days off, where I pound out 5 to 10 pages at a time (on a good day when my muses aren't being glitches). Days on? I'm lucky to get in a paragraph so I feel ya. It's hard to cycle down and get in the writing mindset, isn't it? You want to, the words are there, but you've got your hands on the keys and you're falling asleep staring at the screen.

Azar just gave me a half-dozen ideas for Apple a Day so now I know a few places to take it. yippee! Lennox talked to me for War Without End and Epps bullied his way into the fic. And Critical Mass languishes, the poor thing. lol

On a side note, you once sent me a tidbit of a Bayverse ficlet with Sideswipe and aaaaannnngst. Is that little pretty still up for adoption? Because I've been feeling like writing dark as of late and I think I can round out that sucker.

Look at me babble. Phew. :D

Day off? What is this 'day off' you speak of? ;)

I'm actually usually always in the writing mindset, I'm just too physically tired to bang anything out. I have totally fallen asleep in front of the laptop more than once.

I think Epps will make a great addition to War Without End. and poor CM *pets it, loves it* - it will be all right, precious.

Yup, you are welcome to the Sideswipe angsty bit. I have another bunny that you might be interested in as well - right up your alley in angst and length department so I might email it your way when I have more ideas fleshed out to see if you're interseted in adoption.

A day off is a rare and unusual creature that only comes around once in a blue moon. It is frequently taken over by intense bouts of errands including laundry, grocery shopping, and bill-writing. :D

I think if I rewatch TFP S2, then I can get back in the CM groove.

Huzzah! Then I shall take the Sideswipe angst and run. Or wallow in grief, whichever helps more. lol

I'm always up for seeing new ideas. One never knows when the muses may strike. I'm actually percolating thoughts for that "twins raised separately" prompt you poked me with, too.
