That was horribly awkward and painful and sad for both of them, but oh, are they good together. I love how Jee really kind of wants to do right by Zuko, but is simultaneously aware that there's really no right thing he can do in this situation and uses that as an excuse to let himself slip up. At least he got a ton of new wank material out of this one.
Don't worry, next chapter's going to be lighter and much, much shorter. Nobody minds long descriptions of Jeeko makeouts! In other shocking revelations, I can't wait until they get comfortable enough with each other to really let go ( ... )

Yes, there IS no right at this point - just lesser wrong. And Jee's perception of which wrong is the lesser one might have to undergo a reevaluation in the near future.

Agreed. It was very hot and insecure Zuko is adorable ;).
The part where Jee was looking at Zuko's photos was sad. I liked the scene where Iroh was showing off Zuko's trophies. Iroh is a very proud Uncle. Zuko will soon be asking for private lessons and "private lessons".
I also liked Ming's reaction to Jee admitting his homosexuality. She is accepting of it but at the same time, she's a little hurt that the guy she likes doesn't care for her in THAT way (and was also leading her on for a while). She'll get over it, but it will take time. Am looking forward to her dragging Jee of for karaoke. Is now imagining Jee singing "Young boy girl".
I'm looking forward to the next chapter ;).

Jee will sing. The question is whether it'll be karaoke or his next Music Night. I might just make it both. I don't know why, but there's something about Musician!Jee that really appeals to me.

So. For starters, I really like the shifting relationship dynamics in this chapter. Some rollercoaster you served here! One moment the guys are nearly clarifying most of their mess, and the next there's just more mess heading their way. Which is delicious, really; you setting your characters on such a bumpy road is what I like the most about his fic. It's natural, it's interesting, and it just makes one wonder what the hell happens next (not to mention the master-level trolling: with this frequency of Bad Life Decisions, we can never be 100% sure there's going to be a happy ending, regardless of what your, ekhm, intentions may be ;D ( ... )
