That was just fabulous. You had me crying there in the end.

Amazing job on the story and the artwork is just as gorgeous.

Kudos to you.

Awww, thank you hun! *squeezes you*

Didn't mean to make you cry... well, yes, I did, but you know what I'm talking about.

Isn't the artwork FAB? She did such a great job.

Thank you so much, you're my first review!

Well that was exhausting (in a good way), and then heart breaking, and then you gave us a wonderful ending!

And mayfly_78 did a remarkable job drawing all those illustrations!

It was actually quite exhausting to write, it felt like one of the horror-house rides that just won't stop until you come to an abrupt end.

Thank you so much for the review! Mayfly did an astounding job, she made me squeal with joy. :D

The story is very creepy and sad! Your Snape in here was great.

I love your title, btw. I think it's very fitting. I really liked this. :)

And wow! mayfly_78 did a fantastic job with those pictures!

Thanks! I'm really happy you liked my illustrations. I tried my best to give this inspiring story the artwork it deserved. (And I loved the excuse to try and draw some gore.)

Thank you! I have to admit, writing Snape like this took great effort to make him Uber Bastard. *cringes* My beta asked if I cried, told her, nearly.

The title is the first thing I came up with! I thought of it while watching a Ghost Hunters episode and then the story exploded after that, which was unusual - I tend to find my titles in a certain line of dialogue or something within the story. This was the first time I had the title before the story.

Mayfly is the bomb - she took everything in my head and made it real. She's awesome!

... of course Albus Dumbledore had three-and-twenty 'back-up plans': he would do.

Very clever.

Of course he would - he's as slippery as a Slytherin. I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't a secret one.

*blushes* Thank you very much. I try.

And Mayfly outdid herself with the illustrations - I was completely blown away.

That was creepy!!! We scare easily, and don't normally watch/read horror, and this completely creeped us out! Wonderfully written, it gave us goosebumps and tingles, and we were holding our breaths at certain parts of the story. Great plot, too ( ... )

I have to say, I tried to write it with Draco making another deal - but to be honest, sometimes life doesn't go that way. And he knew Floohart would've done something dastardly to muck it up if he did bring her back.

Mayfly astounded me with her passion on her pieces. I cried myself when she brought everything to life for me. It was like she crawled right inside my head and extracted everything I could see and put it to paper. I'm so proud of her, she's awesome!

I cried writing it, for real. I was hating every word that I typed, but it was very surreal - like I wasn't the one writing it, it just flowed and then I looked at it after I was done and I was like, man, I need a stupidly happy movie right now. LOL

Some of the ghosts are real. I live near Athens, Ohio and it is dead creepy, let me tell you. When bad things happen to people, it leaves behind something unsavoury, and there were lots of bad things that happened in that asylum. The other ghosts were based on the movie, Thirteen Ghosts. I'd say go and check it out, ( ... )

Maybe that's why it made us feel as well- because you, the author, felt it so much. Anyway, it was beautiful. And though it was a sad ending, the Dramione aspect of it was perfect. :)

Some of the ghosts are real.

Oooh, freaky. We don't want to know which ones are real, haha. And though there are lots of ghosts where we're from- lots of spirits in the Philippines- we're thankful the stories we've heard are of non-violent ghosts!

Oh, don't worry about the recommendations, haha. We're sure our friends will enjoy it. Whether or not they like horror- we don't, and we still enjoyed it!- they'll love this fic. :)

Sorry it took me so long to get round to checking the reviews. I'm forgetful like that.

Thank for the kind words, I'm glad you liked the art. Rivertempest's story was so brilliant and evocative that I had a hard time choosing which scenes to illustrate, because I wanted to illustrate them all! Her story is an illustrators dream come true, it was choc-a-block with powerful images and scenes and gorgeous characters. How could I not illustrate the ghosts? They were beautiful, and I do love ghost stories. I'm only sad that due to the deadline I didn't manage to draw all twelve of them...
