LOL My mum and I converted dad as well without knowing - he walked into the room while we where watching (studying) 'Chimera' and goes 'Is this the episode that make all those shippers upset? You are right indeed. 2001 never happened (I guess they could have met the farm people, but they wouldn't have gone poking, so they never would have found the cities, and they were cautious partly because P4C-970 was locked out, and that's where the farm-stuff was going, weren't they?)

*sigh* ...the time travel eps and their confusing-ness. Lol. And yes they were only suspicious because of P4C 970 being locked out. Apart from Jack of course, who is suspicious of people lacking a sense of humour. And being boring. Lol.

I'm thinking if they contact the Aschen first and get dazzled by the shiny tech, with the Aschen willing to share and prepping them for negotiations right from the start...well, it's easy to see how they'd fall for it hook, line and sinker.

I'm kind of excited about this fic. Has the potential to drive me insane with all the paradoxes... lol.

my dad's the biggest fanboy in our house it's hilarious - we were watching Unending and Daniel and Vala were getting together and Dad says "you know, if this was Jack and Sam it wouldn't have taken this long ... actually they're together already and married and" he went on for a while, I don't remember it all

as for 2010 - yeah it never happened, and they have no idea why they're not supposed to go there
