Yeah, figured ;) She said in Vienna there was much more of it and still everything ran smoothly.
I'm just sorry for another friend who wants/wanted to fly to Cardiff, not sure, tomorrow or the following day, and now her flight's cancelled and with the other one offered she has no idea how to go from Bristol to Cardiff that late in the night, when no train is going. She thinks of not going at all.
She wanted to see John Barrowman in this year's panto. That is sad if you look forward to something like that and then have no way to go there and the tickets go wasted.
LOL Yeah, well...globally speaking it's an odd trend so I think that's the angle they're taking...but to us, as the news watchers...it's so ANNOYING to see something over and over. Like, get over it already! LOL
But as a future weather tracker of some sort (haven't picked a job yet...WAY too early in my schooling for that) it fascinates me.
Yeah at first it was cool, seeing just how bad and widespread the snow was compared to what we usually get, but day after day after day of "it's still snowing!" gets annoying.

An inch of snow at Heathrow? That's pretty much all it takes. Lol. The Southerners can't cope with cold weather. Lol.

Maybe everyone should just come visit me. It's raining like anything right now, but it's not snowing or freezing.

Apparently there's a very small spot of green down on the Devonshire coast where they haven't had any snow at all. Which is very odd. Lol.
