I think I wouldn't know what to say and I'd be pretty afraid to have to see and talk to this person again. I'd probably play it by ear.

I certainly wouldn't tell her that the situation was "Fucked Up" !!!!

In addition to consoling her and assuring her her chickenbaby would lead a full life I would have alot of questions for her like:
How did it happen?
Did you know you were pregnant with a chicken?
Did you lay an egg?
Stuff like that.
I'd be too curious and confused to worry too much about if my questions were making her feel worse.

I realized all this after I put up the post. I'd want to know how her husband felt or if her husband was a chicken or if she had an affair with one or was it totally out of the blue.

yeah, i think i saw a special on 20/20 about it a long time ago. the woman was a member of some weird farm cult and they slept in the barn with the animals and ate out of the same troughs as the animals and stuff and one lady gave birth to a chicken somehow. no one could really explain it but different experts had different theories of how it might have happened.
