Rae heard the door open and some spouse stumble into the bedroom. Huh. It was a little early. She called out from the office door. "Hon? Who's home?" Not getting a reply and hearing a strange muffled curse, she went to the bedroom. Rachel stopped dead as she saw a stranger in a brown jacket pulling on a pair of jeans. The long blonde hair looked vaguely familiar...

"Jeannie? What are you doing here?"

Rodney paused in his wiggling. The jeans would fit, but they'd be painted-on tight. Lovely. But that wasn't what worried him. That was Rae behind him and she thought he was Jeannie. Oh boy.

Zipping up, Rodney slowly turned around and pushed his hair out of his face. Looking anywhere but at his wife, he licked his lips before resonding. "Um. How to say this? Ah. Well. You see...I'm not Jeannie." He glanced at Rae to see her reaction as he hesitantly wiggled his fingers at her. "Hi, Shenzi."

Her jaw dropped. For a good full minute before she shut it. OK, the difference was slight, mainly in the mouth and jawline... But yeah, this wasn't the woman she'd met in Vancouver. Suddenly feeling a little pale, Rae stumbled over to sit on the bed and stare in shock. "B...Banzai?" Her look of surprise changed quickly to a glare as she sounded a lot like Radek.

Rodney cringed in a way only he could, instantly confirming beyond all down his identity. "Um. Would you believe me it I said it was an accessory to a Jedi action figure?"

Sighing, Rodney paced the room to get used to the feel of the clothes and his new body. It still felt weird. He was barefoot, but only because Rae wasn't his size.

"It was an accident, I swear. I thought it was another little accessory to the toy. I was turning it in my fingers, studying it because we've never come across it's life sized counterpart and I guess I activated it. How was I to know it'd work?"

Rodney sighed again. "I'm just glad that my drag clothes still fit in this form cause I don't think I'd fit in anything of yours."

Radek was looking through things when they got there. "Hon, you might not want to touch the toys..."

He turned around and lost it. Rae tried ineffectually to keep from smiling as Radek laughed at their husband's plight. His last comments didn't exactly thrill her, however.

"Oh, yes, because being a woman is such a *horrible* fate... Perhaps if you like him so much this way, YOU can get HIM pregnant, hm? However, dear husband, I'm really thinking you should concentrate on figuring out how to change Rodney back into a man in the next 27 days."

It's amazing how fast Radek's face lost all signs of amusement when faced with his wife's wrath. "Rezavy, you know that is not what I meant."

When she mentioned the possiblity of Rodney being this way a month later, both Radek and Rodney paled. She looked at the device with Radek. When Rodney snarked and Radek told him off, she winced. Rodney left in a huff before she could stop him. "Great. He was actually being himself, Radek. Let's just hope he doesn't kill anyone on the way back home." She sat on a chair and hooked up a laptop to the room's terminal. "Let me see what I can find on this room and the toy. Surely there's a way back if it was available to a child."

Radek sighed. "I know. I suppose I am not as unaffected by his change as I thought. It is...surprising."

He pulled up a chair across the desk from her and set up his laptop. "The device may have been hiden here. Planted because this is child's room."
