What travesty is this!? The hopes and dreams of poor children have been DASHED by cruel fate! What sort of sinister mind would plot to bring about the ruination of the FLIGHT OF ST. NICHOLAS!?

Santa Claus isn't real!

Yup. That only means that you actually believe he exists.

And that makes sense how?

I can read it in your voice. Your voice. *points to his throat for emphasis* It's all there. Way deep down, you really do believe that a fat man in a red suit flies around the world, delivering presents to good children. It's written all over you.

Even I have to say, the would-be assassin was pretty tacky. Keeping people from getting free stuff is one of the worse things to do to them.

Not to mention, I find one video game and the disc is melted! Who the hell shoots down something full of valuable cargo with an incendiary missile?!?

The quality of the presents you can scavenge is not the issue here.

Yeah, yeah, not to you, maybe.

Well, there's the Grinch for one, but missiles weren't really his style.

Isn't the Grinch a fictional character?

Yes, but I don't think any of us have room to judge him on those grounds.

I'm sure I have no idea what you're talking about.

The motives of the assassin aside, Santa was most likely flying in restricted airspace, so, frankly, he has no one to blame but himself.

Supernatural beings such as he are scarcely limited by the laws of...mortals...

CONFOUND IT, I keep forgetting I am not dealing with mortals any longer.

You'll get used to it.

Eventually.

I still have trouble believing someone would go to the time and effort of attacking a being like Santa Claus!

The guy was cruising around this place in a sled filled with free stuff. He was begging to get shot down.

But have you no christmas cheer, sir?!

I like to sum up my feelings about Christmas in a simple phrase: "Bah hadoken."
