I did get the camera out for a widefield session to make a time lapse movie of Orion moving accross the sky on Monday. Looks similar to my CG5, just newer and fancier.

It's a lot more massive than CG5 - the entire setup (without counterweights) is at least 60 lbs.

It looks impressive, but then I'm completely uninformed. To me, it looks like a computerized tripod. I wouldn't know what to do with something like that. However, I love your shiny pics, and anything you need that makes them even better - I'm in full agreement with.
