Despite the lack of stippling, I find this very fine self portrait of the artist as a young man.

Not Lou Fine, this artist did not in comics at all, as far as I could tell.

I wasn't thinking of Lou Fine. I was thinking of someone who did a Variety of Fantastic pulp covers and illustrations.
