The influx of americans could well be Cora's relatives coming for Mary and Matthew's wedding (and that last one takes away one of the 2 weddings). But the other one? Edith seems a natural choice. But if we have Isobel meeting a nice gentleman? Or someone from downstairs like Daisy or Ethel (who I understand is coming back too).
Nice! Last year, there were three weddings (I know technically Sybil's was off-screen but I'll count it in) - and now two! Yay! And this time, we should hopefully see a period wedding dress. They were horrible, were they not? But I trust the costume department to make a modernis, stylish version of it. And I hadn't thought about it but you're right - Cora's family will have to attend the wedding! Harrison Ford please be there.
Forget about Edith, Daisy and poor Ethel. There's only one couple that HAVE GOT TO get married....CARSON/MRS HUGHES. Make it happen!
right, right. They're clearly already married - so we're back on Isobel mwhaha. Imagine Violet's face when she announces the engagement. Or aunt Rosamund? There are too many single ladies on this show.
A third witty and bossy old lady? I say bring it on. I can already see the posh catfight taking place.
Ah a flashback would be lovely! I know it's wishful thinking, but a girl can dream.
I like Edith a lot too. Now that (hopefully - I'm never quite ready to believe in happiness) Mary is settled, I'll be rooting for Edith to have a decent love life!
See, I didn't need to run around the room screaming, because I am that convinced that Fellowes wouldn't be so CRUEL as to throw any insuperable obstacles in the way of an M/M wedding. Note my confidence. Note my faith. Do you hear me, Fellowes?????? You'd better not be so lame!!!!!
honestly, if he pulls a "Sure Matthew and Mary are getting married - BUT NOT TO EACH OTHER!" I'm going to scream murder. But of course we have to have faith, because this is a serious, well-written drama that wouldn't do such a thing ever. So yes. They're getting married. I believe so. Yes.
I'm sure that Mary and Matthew's wedding will happen and it will be awesome!:-) What else could Fellowes possibly throw at them to avoid their marriage? XD I'd chase him to England if he dares! But since we know the man a bit, I'm afraid he will throw something at them after!

That would fun!
'20 fashion isn't always in my taste, but I hope they find something agreable (oh well I'm sure they will).
I wonder what kind of woman is Cora's mother, that Grandmama.
I hope he can keep Violet and Isobel on their toes too! :-)
