It was going to be on Monday, but I changed it because I knew that next weekend I wouldn't be able to do it because of Mom being here. (But I'm still going to work out on Monday and Wednesday

I feel exactly the same way. I look at the calories on something and equate it to how long I have to use that goddamned step machine to get rid of it, and decide that I don't need it after all.
I'm into my third week, I've lost 3+ kilos, feel more energetic and I've lost cms off my waist, thighs, hips, arms and back. I'm definitely stronger and don't get puffed as easy.
I'm on a pretty strict diet though - no sodas, no alcohol, no chocolate or junk food, limited good carbs, lots and lots of fruit and veg. That goes for 12 weeks - kind of a kick start challenge where my goal is to lose a minimum of 1/2 kilo per week - and then I can relax it a bit. I'm missing the alcohol like crazy, but my consolation is at the end of it I should be a much cheaper drunk, lol.
I'm finding it good to take a multivitamen too - it definitely helps with recovery time.
Don't mind me, I'm totally obsessed at the moment.
I have GOT to start working out again on a more serious basis. been a pain with some issues lately. :S
Changing your eating habits honestly isn't as hard as it seems, but one of the things I've noticed is to not go into it with dread. I know for me, it's easier if I make an unconscious decision to quit something, or change my lifestyle, rather than to always think about it.
Then again, when it does come up, and I think a lot about it, then I stop.
My dance teacher is a health nut, but man can he move. :)
I know I already told you this, but to me it's just about what doing makes sense. If I feel like splurging a bit, I'll do it on days I'm not working out.
I'm trying to be healthier too...I'm doing the weight watchers point system again. I wasn't that good this past week, but today marks the beginning of a new diet week for me! Good luck!
Good luck to you too! I'd never do calorie counting or weight watcher stuff. I'm too lazy to count. Half the time, I'm lucky I remember to see how much I'm lifting hehe...
Okay apparently I have a one-track mind because at first I thought you said you were going to the store to buy some food that would be a good way to start eating BUTTER. :)
