Morning Of Doom

one. Woke up, rolled over, dozed for a bit, got up at 8:05 (not quite late, but I prefer to be up and in the shower by 7:50ish). Showered, fiddled with moisturizer and crap out of shower, noticed MAMMOTH zit on chin, great. It was fine yesterday. No problems, no nothing. The time change has been fine. But this?? I could KILL that alarm clock. Kill it with fire. The one Wes hates, with the red glowing lights, that I MANUALLY SET MYSELF, is getting plugged in tonight. Grrrrrr.

I'm usually fine about getting to work (relatively, hah) on time. I even remembered to manually fix the damn clock. It REVERTED because it is a sick little device that shall rot in my bedside table drawer after this. Grarr.

Hey, I just totally realized my nifty, finished and almost ready to go to the printer, 8-page program is actually TEN fucking pages and so have to grovel, apologize to Craig and Peggi and somehow squeeze 10 pages of shit into 8. So, y'all. HAVE A NICE FUCKING DAY. Just don't talk to me

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww, that sucks, Ma. BUT YOU CAN DO IT. I have faith that you'll fix it up. Keep plugging away, and remember that you'll be in ITALY soon, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel! And before that, you'll get me and Wes on Friday night for dinner and laughs. Deep breaths, mama.

Hey, at least it had not gone to the printer. BUT, embarrassed to have fucked up, yup, very. Of course, Peggi and Craig proofed it and made some edits and THEY didn't notice the two extra pages either. It's all the fault of Quark's automatic page-numbering. Kind of like your fancy-dancy clock that screwed your morning.

So, is technology our friend today??!!

See, you messed up, but Peggi and Craig ALSO missed it, so you're not the only one. And you're gonna fix it super-good, I know it, so that's good, too. Think of the positive, right??

Technology is NOT our friend. Boooooo, stupid fucking technology.

Blechhh, back to digging through emails. I think a hot cocoa is in order to make my afternoon a little brighter.
