Request meme time!
Despite CLAMP all but underlining the fact that there are infinite alternate universe versions of all their characters out there (See: Tsubasa), I can't help but notice that there is a woeful lack of AU fic in this fandom. Aaand, since it seemed about time for another request meme, I'm going to see how much I can do single-handedly to fix this.
So: Give me an idea for a xxxHOLiC based AU, and... well, I'll see what I can come up with to go with it. It might be a drabble-ish length fic, might be a few lines of dialogue or a short description of how I think the story would work. Might even turn into a longer fic, though it's probably best not to count on that. Go ahead and request in whatever format you feel like - can be as simple as "Watanuki is an X and Doumeki is a Y", can be as complicated and detailed and include as many different characters as you come up with roles for. Feel free to reference stuff from other series too (just keep in mind that crossovers are a whole separate category, and I can only work with what I'm familiar with).
No promises I'll be able to come up with something for every idea, but I'll see how far I get. (Please note: breaking the writer's brain may be a fun way to spend the evening, but it does not tend to lead to much fic being written.)

ETA: Completed requests are up. Didn't get through all the requests by any stretch of the imagination, but I did write fic for eight different worlds, none less than a few hundred words long, and several with multiple scenes. So I'm feeling reasonably accomplished about it all.
Round 1: Pirates, vampires and Piffle Country office politics
Round 2: Movies, medieval times, hired gunmen and more pirates
Round 3: Superheros and lands post apocalypse (and extra stuff from one of those other worlds a few people seemed to like a bit)
