I've sort of gotten over anything that makes me go "um show, what are you doing?" . I mean, I like looking at Christopher Gorham, and I like all the characters so I sort of just hand-wave things. Like Parker, for Auggie: so long as she ended up gone, I just ignored how they got there since it seemed mildly ridiculous anyway..,.

Lena shooting them was at least from left field; I've never seen 24 so I've got no opinions on Sarah Clarke (which is a lot of what I heard, that people weren't surprised b/c of her character on 24). Besides, although Lena was all "girl power let's go!" she struck me as reckless, (I think she was supposed to, so they did that well at least) and I LIKED her, but not as well as I liked Joan.

I've sort of enjoyed the whole thing, actually.

I usually do that with these kinds of shows too but this was just too big to hand-wave for me because it just does not make TV-writing sense to do this to their main character. It makes her look stupid and silly, and the show was already on shaky ground on that by casting Piper Perabo as a spy (the only casting more unbelievable is Rachel Bilson as a doctor and atleast that's on the CW), Not to mention it's pretty much a repeat or flip of how the show started, which was a terrible idea the first time around and makes even less sense after they've worked on showing her as a capable spy and actual grown-up, rather than some schoolgirl who bases her life decisions on a guy ( ... )
