Blame it on my ADD
Yeah so, appearantly they nerfed rogues in PVP a whole bunch, right in time for me rolling one. Awesome timing, self, as always. >_< PVE is not much better, the damage is okay but ugh, questing/dungeons. The way things are going I'm tempted to just transfer my 85 over and let her sit around gathering dust inbetween opening lockboxes and pickpocketing junkboxes for my Insane title. And then I can roll my Tauren druid instead, because the one I have is so much fun to farm on I want another (but with skinning instead of mining). *Swoosh, pick, swoosh, pick, stare at the pretty scenery, swoosh some more.* Also discovered it's dangerously addictive to farm mobs as balance, especially when the mobs spawn frequently in 3 nearby spots and what do you know, I just happen to have exactly 3 exploding mushrooms right here... Pop, pop, pop, all dead and all looted now with AoE loot. I do love being efficient, I love it like the dork I am.
Meanwhile I have my first raid with the new guild tomorrow and am sorta nervous. I mean, obviously if they start to yell at me Imma be out of there before they can finish typing "u suck", and I won't care, not really, because if they're that uptight about raiding in a GAME then they are even bigger losers than I am, and that? Is really and truly saying something. But, I'll also probably cry a bit and kick myself and then carry it with me in some corner of my brain where stuff like that tend to pile up, and just ... bleh. I really hope it's non-heroic, is all I'm saying (it didn't say but I'm reading up on tacts in case). And I honestly don't know what is making me more nervous, the fear of screwing up or the fear of talking with people on Vent. I hate talking with people I know and trust, and these are new people. I hate new people. I hate talking. Ugh.

Okay, before I shut up and go to bed, Covert Affairs, we need to talk. Basically: WHAT ARE YOU DOING? NO, SERIOUSLY, WHAT. ARE. YOU. DOING. Like, I keep waiting for someone to jump out and go "PSYCH, gotcha, this was all a weird hallucination, possibly by Bobby Ewing in the shower!", because there is just no universe in which this could seem like a good idea to any TV writers - no matter how dense. How did the pitch meeting for this go? "Lets just do a repeat of the first season only this time she falls for a FOREIGN spy and acts all manners of insanely stupid and un-spy-like and then, IDK, lets just have that crazy lady from 24 shoot em or something." How did you think this was a good idea?
And you were doing SO WELL too, working your way away from that whole Annie is a spy because her BF dumped her setup and introducing girl-power Lena and even literally having her give a speech about how lady spies supposedly can never control their emotions and how they get no respect etc etc... And then 5 episodes later Annie's all "hmm? you were saying? Sorry I was too busy falling for this guy that I know is a ruthless killer and also an assignment, because IDK, I needed a distraction from how my other crush was getting married at the time"? The guy even looks like BF #1! Only more British and less attractive, but maybe that's just me being weirded out by seeing Jeff-from-Coupling in a supposedly-suave role (I never could really buy him as Moist Von Lipwig in that Pratchett-miniseries either). EXPLAIN YOUR CHOICES, SHOW. Please. I need to know in what possible way this makes sense to anyone, on a fundamental TV-writing-level.
Does anyone else watch this show? And I totally understand if the answer is no, because I barely do myself, but I could just really use some help figuring this out because it straight-up baffles me. I am baffled. With a side order of mystified.
