Yeah, so, I was off LJ for like a day, and now I'm spamming. But appearantly my brain won't shut up until I've dumped some TV thoughts here, so.

Spam all you want! I have high hopes for Once Upon a Time because I don't think the pilot sucked in the same way that other fall pilots sucked this year. I'm going to give it a few more weeks and see how it goes.

I have never tried pasta with peanut butter. *is intrigued*

True, it did not suck as much as a lot of pilots did, it had that going for it. Honestly, pilots this year have been dreadful.

Haha no, just regular butter! Crazy as I am, I'm not THAT crazy! XD

The Walking Dead is... okay, so, like, I really enjoyed the ep this week, and I know they have a new show-runner/creative team this season so I expected changes. But I'm still not quite sure how I'm supposed to feel about some of the characters ( ... )

Yeah, I get your point, but the thing is, I *REALLY* want to like this show. Like, more than any other show, I desperately want to love this one. And the thing holding me back, mainly, is the characters, so if I need to have some selective amnesia WRT s1 in order to not hate their guts and wanting them to be eaten by the zombies, then that's fine by me. Even if it means some shortcuts in character developement, which usually annoys me to no end. Obviously they could do it in a way that makes more sense, but I'll take what I can get at this point basically ( ... )

Yeah, it's enjoyable! At least to me, it is. It's too bad the new writers couldn't just do a whole reboot, because you can tell they're trying to fix stuff. But also, maybe they aren't genre writers and are having a hard time figuring out how to write a zombie apocalypse. We'll see, we'll see.

I... think the show actually said as much about modern civilization reverting back to traditional gender roles. And I completely disagreed with that. But while I enjoy discussing such things and it doesn't affect my enjoyment of the show, obviously not everybody is the same, so I'll leave it.

It's a fun show anyway! :)
