Since it was right there already (assembled a few years back and then taken down for reasons I don't remember), here's the web archive
of all the DCU fic I've ever posted anywhere. Comics 'verse, animated series, Batman Beyond, Justice League Unlimited. (There's fic there that's 10 years old. Dear god

Yeah, I feel like if she'd been allowed to follow through long term on what she started, that would've helped. She did bring Dick Grayson back to finding some of his sense of self again, but it feels half-finished.

I keep googling to see what DC has been doing with the various members of the batfamily since I stopped reading and I need to stop doing that. It's WOUNDING MY SOUL.

WTF indeed. Ugh.
In happier thoughts, I am very happy to hear of your (somewhat?) rekindled interest in the DCU, and for your link to your DCU fic because that's how I found your LJ and why I'm a fan. You do amazing work. Also despite being a die-hard Timm/Dini animated universe fan, I will give Under the Red Hood a try based on your glowing review (plus, the actor who plays Dean is hot), though I definitely will be spending every moment wondering why they didn't use Kevin Conroy and the other phenomenal actors from the series.

I was surprised how much I liked that movie. Maybe I shouldn't have been given my good track record with the stuff the animation division puts out...but I've gotten mired in bitterness re: DC of late. (Bruce Timm and Alan Burnett produced, so Red Hood had some animated series guys with a hand in things, maybe that helped).

I really need to get my hands on more than the first season of B:tAS. I am JONESING something fierce. In my head the hierarchy of canon goes comics -> Nolan movies -> Timm-Dini 'verse. Because Nolan's made some pretty great movies but he totally forgets that all of the awesome female characters even exist and when he makes up his own he fridges them. And, anyway, Timm&Dini are just better.
And, pfft, comics canon is so fucked up that everything really is an AU of everything else. My theory is to take what's awesome from wherever and mash it all together into its own better canon. Though now I see I have missed some good Batfamily comics and must research what new things should be added to the hodgepodge in my brain.
BATS! Just when you think you're out they pull you back in.

Yeah, in the hierarchy, the animation division winds up in the lead for me every time.
Pfft. Comics canon. IDEK. I'm sticking to my back issues. Which has been a wonderful rereading experience so far and I am full of squeefulness over the heyday of the Nightwing book.

I will also back you up on Devin Grayson. There's stuff she does that I don't like but she's also done some fantastic stuff.

Devin's stuff is very good but sometimes it's a bit much. She's great at deconstructing but not so much at putting them back together, IMO.
