I didn't make the connection between the stars and Van Gogh, but that is SO APT. I LOVE IT. And it definitely gave me chills thinking about a starless sky. CREEPY.

MR. AND MRS. POND! AND THE DOCTOR! IN THE TARDIS! HAVING ADVENTURES!

PRETTY MUCH ALL I WANT IN LIFE!!!

The lack of stars freaked me out and thinking back to the Van Gogh ep kind of emphasized how lonely and empty it felt, the earth being alone in the universe. *shivers*

This season of Doctor Who made me so, so happy. \o/

I so can't wait for the amazing adventures all three of them will get into next series! I loved how bright and happy the ending was, and how Rory seems just as thrilled to be traveling, and I really hope this means we'll have loads of awesome Rory/Amy/Eleven fics to tide us over. :D

I loved how River Song was talking to the Tardis. Like she was talking to a friend. ♥

I JUST got round to watching the finale--had to wait till I was alone and could watch the whole thing without interruption and scream and cry at all the right moments--and YES! WORD ON EVERYTHING! I love them so. :D

Eeeeeee, isn't it fantastic?

I was disappointed when they killed Rory, and worried this would be second verse, same as the first, some of those issues I had with RTD. But instead Moffat proved that he has his own approach (I swear, he went all dark there for a bit just to heighten the ZING! WOW of how it resolves later. The show off. ;p)

But now I can wallow happily and rewatch and unreservedly draw sparkly hearts all over this season, which was smart and funny and sad and delightful.

Yessss! :D

I was disappointed when they killed Rory
I never fully believed it. (Even though I was scared it was true at the same time, LOL!) But midseason? With so much left unresolved? And so much importance put on the date of Rory and Amy's wedding? I simply couldn't get too upset; I had to believe he'd come back. I was worried a bit when he did come back but, ya know, all plastic and deadly. But it all worked out of course and I cried the happy tears.
I was worried, too--that they'd not remember the Doctor, that they wouldn't come along with him again in the end...but yes, ZING happy ending! (I know the three of them can't stay together forever and all, but the "new Doctor or new companion every series" thing was getting...depressing. I want more time with Rory and Amy and Elven.)

But now I can wallow happily and rewatch and unreservedly draw sparkly hearts all over this season
Same here! ♥♥
