You know, I think the Ellie on the show gets short shrift, mostly because she gets stuck being all nosy sibling and/or clueless civilian (plus I don't like the actress), but she shines in fic - like this one. Ellie knowing she has to watch Chuck because he can't keep track of his own limbs is perfect.

You know, I never liked the actress (maybe it was the character, though) when she was on Everwood, but I adore her here. The show doesn't develop her enough, but we see how many things she juggles and she's like the emotional glue trying to hold everything together, I think she's incredibly strong. Just...it's not addressed much. (They need to do an episode focused on Ellie!)
