So far, impala (yes, I named the new macbook impala, shut up, it was almost named TARDIS) has been settling in well. It talks to my wireless network and my printer. I really like the OS X operating system. It's also very lightweight and does seem more intuitive than a PC.

Home from the store, out of the box, and NAMED, so fast you're head will spin (it helps that there's a mac store less than a mile away from me).

That's my take on a Mac vs. a PC, too. The few times I've had to use a PC, it's driven me nuts because it doesn't seem as user-friendly.

So far, so good. The OS is really easy to use, I just have to get used to a few of the keys being different.

I should name mine. I have gone as far to make the little icon that represents me be, randomly, a half naked picture of Chad Michael Murray (don't ask why, it appealed at the time, I should switch it out for Dean really). Names though. HMMM!!!

It asks you to name it when you do the setup thingie. I haven't figured my way around enough yet to start customizing...all I'm doing is poking around online to get used to a mac. Later in the weekend we will try actual productivity (fic editing still has to be on the PC since I haven't gotten word for mac yet).

Well, I've been researching this for a while (no really, I have!) and was at the mac store last night and today making up my mind. But it was all too easy to say, okay, I want that one and take it home. The mac store is really close to my apartment.
