Ooh, I really enjoyed reading the Kairi/Kurogane posts. She really does seem like the sort of strong yet sweet person who could get Kurogane to spill his secrets. You should get some icons of Tiny!Tomoyo to use with your posts with her. ^_^

Interesting how you chose to hint at the upcoming Celes and Infinity arcs with the crate of clothes and the sword spell... I guess that's a little teaser for those in the know.

I also liked the ones with Himawari-chan: she *is* a lot like Fai, I can't believe I never realized that. Like Fai, she's "cursed" although Yuuko doesn't make it clear whether or not she was actively cursed or just something that happened...

I've been wondering how Fai doesn't starve to death while Kurogane's missing. I suppose he had to cut a deal with Yuuko... I bet Kurogane's worried about that, especially since he has such a sense of responsibility.Kuro's post with Wolfwood over men marrying makes sense considering what time Kurogane is from, and his position. If he doesn't have children, his lineage dies. ( ( ... )

Hee, I've been using a few! Namely this one, which has her offscreen. Sadly, 100 icons turns out to be a really small number for an RP journal, especially for someone with as many great icon opportunities as Kurogane. I'm still trying to find the right combination that'll a) cover all the moments I want covered and b) still give him a wide range of expression. (And some repeats for more commonly used expressions - I hate using the same icon twice in a row.)

Aha, thank you! Mostly I just wanted to play with 'em -- and Kairi-mun's another Tsubasa fan, so she got to be amused by spoilers too. I did have a purpose other than just playing around, though; I wanted to introduce the thought that people can end up in camp from different points in the timeline. Which ... will be crucial if someone apps a Fay who is from any point from directly after Acid Tokyo. Especially if they take him from before Acid Tokyo. Having the idea in his head now should help him adjust to timeline issues later, if they come up ( ... )

Hehe, 100 just isn't enough... especially with the endless variations on "pissed off" that Kurogane has.

Oh, I should have guessed that Kairi is a TRC fan. No wonder she's so interested in Fai, lol. :nods: I can't imagine that someone would want to play Fai from Infinity, after "The Incident" involving sharp objects, or the current arc for that matter. Part of his charm is that he can be funny and silly and I just don't see it happening until "The Incident" is resolved. Ah that makes sense. Otherwise Kurogane would be flipping out, imagining that Fai is starving.

Kurogane would probably have that idea, although his resistance has already probably been worn down by years of Tomoyo-exposure. :snickers:

"Break him in" -- you mean teaching him how to sit and heel and not bite the other players? =^.^=

Yeahh, just apping Fay after any of the Big Spoiler Arcs would be tremendously difficult, considering that CFUD's application is judged primarily on ICness and humor. (ICness more than humor, happily, but -- humor is still a big part!) And then there's playing itself, and -- yeah. At least Kurogane gets some pretty damn important development in AT. That's why I kept it. Yep yep. >: Unhappy Kurogane = not a very playable Kurogane.

Heh heh heh. Absolutely. I imagine Tomoyo shoved him at a lot of pretty men. >D

... yes. Very much so. Kairi and Eiko and Himawari have been doing an excellent job at that. >D

By the way - I went and read your KuroFai fics! Thought they were excellent, generally fun to read, etc. So I have a question! May I borrow one particular scene from Lost in Translation to use as part of my Kurogane's background? I'm referring to the kickass part in Chapter IX (or maybe Chapter VIII - can't remember) where Kurogane is facing down a bunch of psychotic desert bandits and Fay ends up saving his butt. ( ... )
