I completely agree --I got bored halfway through and realized I just didn't care. That and the whole "friend" thing was starting to irritate me.

Oh, I actually read dps and polyamory with both journals, because I'm stupid like that. But in my regular journal, I've got this signature that I use on all my posts, and all my comments --everywhere, not just on livejournal. So it's sometimes a little tricky to remember not to sign off on mesix's comments with that other girl's name.

The banning idea is not a bad one though. I may have to start using that sometime.

I feel sad that I have to align myself with the polyamory community to read this (and many other) posts. I used to belong and found myself so overcome by stupid drama that I just couldn't do it anymore.

I'm loving dot poly snark (it's actually reigniting my belief that there are actually poly folk out there -apart from me, of course, who is perfect-who AREN'T completely batshit insane), but I just got so sick of the constant drama. That said. I love a good superiority complex/guffaw as much as the next guy.

is it against community rules to screenshot?

When I find myself in the position of only being able to take a limited amount of a given community for whatever reason, I join, but don't put it on my friends list. Then I can control when I am exposed to the community, and subsequently can control whatever annoyance comes with it, whether that's 100 posts/day or people I want to hit with sticks. I highly recommend it.
