The quote itself might have been snark-worthy, but everything else I said was inappropriate.

I think you pointed out a moment when someone wasn't writing (or perhaps thinking) clearly, and that part was funny, but then the whole thing got a bit complicated. So kudos to you for this comment (and kudos to the snarkee on the deleted comment for coming over and chatting about it in a very cool way).
