A scream rings out through the ducts and Daxter jumps hard enough to his his head on the metal. He curses, rubbing his scalp but hurries in the direction of the scream. Sure, he probably can't do anything -might be too afraid to do something- but he should at least go see.
Unfortunately, the vent he steps on isn't quite as secure as he'd have liked and he tumbles out of the air duct and onto the deck below.]

So she charges, mouth open and twisted into an angry snarl as she leaps at what she considers to be dinner.]

Daxter scrambles back, but is still weak and disoriented and ends up falling back and hitting his head on the ground. He has to get away, he has to get away-
He's not going to make it.]

She skids to a stop and with a MIGHTY ROAR, leans over to snap at his face.]

He starts scratching at her face with blunt claws, kicking and thrashing and doing whatever he can to get away from her.]

Of course, she's immediately distracted by the claw to her eyes and the tiger shrieks in pain, releasing the little creature and flinging it away from her as hard as she possibly can while pawing at her face.]

He glances around frantically- there, a floor vent. He drags himself over as quickly as possible, yanks the vent cover away and throws himself inside.]
