Summary: Teddy’s stuck with Xavin, and he’s not really liking the direction things are going.

Notes: Companion to Gods, so possibly spoilers for the YA/Runaways Secret Invasion thing.
What Teddy really wanted to do was go back and find Billy. But his head felt like it had been split open and filled with asphalt. He couldn’t even seem to stand up on his own.
Xavin was the one who kept them moving forward, through the sewers.
Moving away from Billy.
Teddy had never had much use for religion. Aside from joining the Church of Thor for two weeks, his childhood had been pretty much religion free. Christmas had been about presents, and everything else had just been a day off and an excuse to eat candy.
That day, as Xavin pulled him through the sewers, he prayed to any god that might listen that Billy was okay, and that they would both make it through this alright.
