Victor speared a peice of steak and swirled it around his place, picking up mushroom sauce as it went. He kept glancing between Tommy and Nico, fidgeting. Nico shot him a reassuring smile, which he barely managed to return. Tommy kept darting in and out of the room, theoretically checking on Rachel.
Nico couldn't help but giggle at how her boys were acting. It was undenyably cute, even though they probably didn't think it was.
It was Victor who broke the silence. "You said you had something you wanted to tell us?"
Four years, and the mutant was still nervous about the strange relationship he, Tommy, and Nico shared.
Nico smiled beatificually as the two men focused their attention on her. She dug into her pocket and pulled out a slender white stick, putting it on the table between the three of them.
Victor blinked, and Tommy finally held still.
Nico grinned.
"Two lines?" Tommy whispered.
Nico nodded. "I wanted you two to be the first to know."
There was stunned silence, then Tommy let out a whoop and pounced on Nico. Victor barely had time to open his mouth and utter a congradulations before he was yanked into the hug. Nico grinned at him and kissed his cheek as Tommy held them both tightly.
