I asked my parents today if it would have made a difference if he was 18... and the answer was no. Reason? Because even then we're apparently almost a generation apart, he has no life experience yet, I'm technically supposed to be graduating from

lol no worries, in our version it'll be a happy ending :) We'll make sure of that.

It's okay... Just hard that we can't do or say anything hinting at lovingness in public anymore. My parents are just silly. And I still don't completely believe what they told me about the party, because everyone I talk to seems to think it's retarded.
