I went to go see the new Star Trek film last night. It was a pretty good film but it wasn't Star Trek, it was just a modern space movie that had a few too many convenient plot scenes for my liking. I'm quite disappointed by how far it is from the Star Trek series.

Me and the boyfriend have finally decided on our house. It's a nice little 3 bedroom place, it's smaller then I would have preferred but there's a lot of storage space so I'll probably be ok, I just hope Tom can try and keep it clean for once! Bloody men! I've nearly finished my placement year, my last day will be in late July. I cant wait! The main part of my job involves making graphs and it's driving me mad! Me and my boss interviewed some people for my replacement and we've chosen the best person for the job. He seems very nice. Ramadan's starting tomorrow, it's gunna be murder this year! I dont think I'm going to survive tomorrow, the day's are so long right now. I'm used to fasting during short days. I think I might sleep during the day now, that might help :P
