Now that I've finished My Girl I think I will watch Delightful Girl Chun-Hyang. It's by the same writing team so it MUST be good. Either that or Nobuta Wo Produce but for some reason I am less keen on jdramas than I am on kdramas and tdramas. Must be Bollywood lover in me.
But that is not what the post is about.
After watching Millionaire's First Love (like Walk to Remember with 17 times more angst and pretty leaves, on acid), I wanted to see the male lead, Hyun Bin, in something else. I found out he is the currently airing Snow Queen (also called 'Queen of Snow') which sounds deliciously emo. It's been picked up for subbing.
The plot involves Bo Ra, a troubled rich girl, with a variety of behavioral illnesses (of doooooom. She is clearly not long for this world) and her star-crossed love with Tae Woong, who is a third rate boxer with the obligatory angstoriffic past. Considering it's brought to you by people who did dramas like 'I am sorry I love you' and 'Winter Sonata,' we can expect mondo angst, amazingly beautiful cinematography, lots of crying, childhood love, and possibly, if we've been very good this year, a joint suicide. I am in!
Also some of it was filmed in New Zealand. And looks pretty.
But who am I kidding? This is basically an excuse for me to post a lot of pictures of Hyun Bin in boxing gear, rocking the manpain.
