For those who haven't heard yet, I recently bought a recumbent to get around the hamstring injury I have that makes riding an upright too damn painful.

In fact I bought this one (image behind the lj-cut) at, for a recumbent, a very cheap $1250 including shipping:

First swim since I got tattooed this morning. Managed 1km out at QE2 (which has the 50m pool undivided again!) but it was hard going. Seems my swimming endurance has faded rather a lot in the last month or so. Cardio performance was all good thanks to the continuing hill running I'm doing tho, so that's a win at least ( Read more... )
