We had to fly up to Seattle last weekend for a health emergency. I didn't get out much, but Olivia did get to see her first snowfall. She liked it. She also liked picking the pinecones from the trees.

Ever since someone used the term "face time," (as in "your new assistant requires a lot of face time") I've really hated it. Please don't use this term. It sucks.

Someone mentioned to me that there exists something you put in men in the Army's food, and it lowers their sex drives. Does something like this really exist? Creepy.

Lunch was great. We ate at Porto's cafe, and I bought some cookies for later-- macaroon, dulce de leche, and shortbread. I'm sure my daughter will be excited.

It's a beautiful, sunny day outside, and I'm sitting in front of monitor in my cubicle for exactly 150 more minutes before I leave for the day.

Did I mention I bought a lightweight road bicycle and have been cycling about 50-75 miles per week? I rode my bicycle in to work this morning (9 miles) and it's such a great way to wake up. The ride back home is a slight incline, so it's not quite as fun, but if I could, I'd commute by bicycle to work every day.

Not really. It's just that I don't have the time to "update" my "LJ" when I'm not at work. Therefore, you'll only be reading me on days I am, in fact, at work.

Did I mention I have braces now? I got them in late June. The full metal kind. I also had three teeth extracted shortly thereafter. Since that time, my brackets and wires have poked holes in my cheeks unrepentantly. Therefore, I am going using up the "wax for braces" I bought at Target like there's no tomorrow.
