About a year ago, I found out Kitty had hyperthyroidism. I though that was the end of the world. Until I learned more about the disease and how simple it is to stabilise witih medication in geriatric cats

2 of the cats my parents had when i was a child both died of kidney disease around the same time (they were brother/sister).

I'm sorry Amanda, that's so sad. I know I'd be upset if that happened to Rosemary..but I can't really imagine.

i am so sorry. i know kitty is your baby and she is a very strong cat (like her mom) and will not give up easily. call me when you have a bit of time and we will hang out okay? i still have not seen your new place and i haven't seen kitty in freaking forever.

I wish I could say something to make it all okay. Just enjoy the time you have left with her and cherish the memories once she's gone. I know how hard it is to lose a friend like that beacuse my cat that I had for 10 years died in a car accident in July, and I wouldn't wish that on anybody. I'm so sorry and please keep me updated. My heart goes out to you. Give Kitty a pet for me.
