Pam has fallen asleep on the couch while reading Edmund Spenser. It's really rather adorable.

Here is an actual conversation we actually had before class this morning, after discussing the insomnia-curing qualities of Spenser's work:

It's like I'm writing a story, except I don't get to toss in any gay sex, as I didn't actually observe any. Alas.

Ah, alack, how many slashers could say this, and, with the same sad tone. But, that's what they made imagination for. Perhaps you could spice up the assignment with SUBTEXT, yes? A few well-placed evocative metaphors, code for the alert elite?
