27 hours and counting

So I set out from my house at 4:00 in the morning on Monday the 2nd. It is now 6:30 on Tuesday the 3rd in China and I've been traveling for nearly 30 hours. Honestly though, it feels like it's been even longer. What's worse, I will get home at around midnight tonight and then I have work at 8:00 tomorrow. I bet the culture shock must be horrible. I actually get one everytime I go back to Germany after having stayed in Japan for some time, because suddenly: Grumpy people everywhere. No one greeting you in a restaurant. No shop people to haste to your side the second you seem like you are having a question.
Though with Germany it seems more like a service issue... xD

I hope you'll get used to China soon though! About stupid work schedules: After two weeks of holidays, I'll have to start working on Friday, just to have three days off again because Monday is a public holiday. They couldn't just give us Friday off as well x_x"

Yeah it really can be tough. People here just have no compunctions about being rude or letting you know exactly what they're thinking.

And wow, one day in between holidays, that's such a pain! Why couldn't they have taken one day off of your next weekend?
