So I went a little nuts on Goodreads today, and I added 200 books total to my shelves. Some are books I plan to read in the future, but most were books I had read but had never added for some reason.

WTF, 39 pages? That's crazy, and I think it's absolutely right you stood up to your dad and said that in the future you won't do translations this huge anymore. I'd probably say I won't do it if a text was longer than a page though... xD

Well, at least it wasn't full translation, more like proofreading, but I did have to keep referring back to the Chinese to make sure it made sense.

And now he's telling me that I was only supposed to do a small section of those pages! Why didn't he make that clear to begin with? ARG!

Damn, 39 pages at 11 o'clock? Poor you, I would have at least asked for some kind of a payment, a chocolate bar or something along those lines, because you're right, that's not really a favor anymore, it's work 0.0..

And it deprived you of that lovely sleep you were craving so much!

Chocolate would've been super nice. And alas, I've resigned myself to never getting a truly good night's sleep.

Yeah, it happened because I was looking at my bookshelf and thinking to myself, "There's no way I've only read 200 books in my life." Of course, I've done so many rereads, but every month of my (reading) life I've managed to read at least 2 or 3 (being conservative) new books.

Yeah I got pretty sick of doing it by page 3.

Weird. I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday. :O I just can't remember every children's book / YA book I've ever read, which should make a significant portion of my bookshelf.
