So I went a little nuts on Goodreads today, and I added 200 books total to my shelves. Some are books I plan to read in the future, but most were books I had read but had never added for some reason.
That was actually really fun. I'm such a dork.

Last night I was hoping to get lots of lovely sleep, but then I realized I had promised my dad I'd do him a favor. Occasionally he asks me to proofread his column (he writes a monthly column for an architecture magazine here), an interview, or sections of his company's book. I don't mind of course, living in his house and all, it's the least I can do.
However, he sometimes asks me to translate and proofread for his friends. This I'm less happy about, and this last time was no exception. On Monday, he'd asked me for the favor, and then the friend emailed me the document. I downloaded it, but didn't look, as I had meetings and was working. I completely forgot about it on Tuesday, my bad. Then, on Wednesday she texted me, and told me that it was due that day. I planned to tackle the document after work. After I got home though, I was chatting with my mom and making dinner and forgot about it again.
When I finally remembered, it was 11:00 pm here, but I figured that I could plow through it pretty quickly. I opened the document, and it was 39 pages long!
First I was like this:
And then I was like this:
In the end I did it anyway, because I'm a good daughter. But I told my dad that there is no way a "favor" should take me more than two hours. That's a job, and I want to get paid for it.
