I love trivia and I was able to contribute quite a few answers. I wouldn't want to have an earring piece go into my ear, but I am curious to know how interesting the world would sound for a couple of days. :P But anyway, wow those doctors. I'm thinking they could have done an xray to check if it's not there anymore... I hope she's feeling better!

According to my friend, it sounds like you have permanent water in your ear. She didn't come into work this morning, and I texted her but no reply. I hope she's ok too.

I've just found out that it wasn't the back of the earring at all, it was the front!! Now I'm really, really worried.

I had the back of the earing stuck to my ear when I was a youngster and had to have a minor surgery to get it out.

Ooh I've heard of people whose ears have grown around their earrings, it sounds horrendous. Jewelery problems always gross me out.
