Well, Ophelia died two days ago. She died on the way to the vet to put her down. We buried her in the shade garden beneath our ash tree.

It's odd; I still keep an eye out for clothing left on the floor (lest Ophelia pees on it), and I'm afraid of tripping over bowls of food that are no longer there.

On the plus side, at least Minnie probably won't

How is Minnie holding up without her sister anyway?

She's doing as well as I can tell. She and Ophelia didn't get along well, though to her credit Minnie stopped beating up Ophelia once she was obviously sick.
