Boredom is killing me and I need something fun to boost my writing inspiration. Any favorite BL/shounen-ai/yaoi manga titles I might like?

And in case you're curious, but I really don't care if you suggest something with/without these things...

aksf;dasf I LOVE YMKM. Which is weird, because it falls under mostly everything I dislike, but the fact that the uke is so... atypical that I love it. xD It's what made the manga so loveable. <3

Oh me too. I adore YMKM just because Aoi is so atypical. Innocent, yet experience. Sweet, yet a right blunt bastard. XD If you like the atypical uke Silent will likely peek your interest a bit.

Oh I'm glad Honto Yajuu caught your eye. A lot of people tend to skim over it, but I rather like it's funny but sweet dynamic. Do say if you like them. I can unearth a LOT more when you want it.

I don't know if you've ever read it or not (with my luck, you have and you hated it xD), but the anime/manga that got me into yaoi was Kyo Kara Maou. It's extremely, extremely light shounen-ai, though... But I love it. <3 It's fantasy, which you said you liked, so I figured I'd mention it...

Also, the Pokemon scanlation group that Tennouji_nerin, Darknessneko, and I recently made will probably be releasing our first couple of doujinshi soon-ish. And they're Green x Red. But you didn't hear it from me! xP Shhhhh...

And yes, we are all indeed perverts. =3 If you read one of the Pixiv doujinshi we'll be releasing, you'll never think of Pokemon moves the same way ever again. "GREEN used DIG!" Oh, God.

I can definitely clean those! Maybe not perfectly to a T, but that's why clone tool is my best friend. After leveling and all that it should look pretty close. Plus, I have a lot of practice with redrawing because of my scanlation group's current project. xD

Oooo, I've heard about Totally Captivated. For some reason I got the notion it was a guy/girl romance. Why does my brain come up with these strange theories. AND IT HAS HUMOR? PICKY LIL THANG YOUUUU

I have no idea. With age difference, go for Naono Bohra. That's all I can say because I love all her works. Her men, are MEN. Not overly masculine like bara, but close enough to be defined as a guy. As in, a real man not defined with only his balls but also with a manly body.

ETA: I saw the comments above rec'ing Totally Captivated. XD;; You might like it, but let's just say I dropped it. It's got a bit of a fantasy theme there that's true, but....there's just something I didn't like about it, and I cannot grasp what.

Oooo, I like Naono Bohra's art style so far. *__* And she has a fantasy oneshot. -is pleased- The way she does her shadowing is lovely. And the storylines are interesting slsfa;sf.

The art is interesting, but if there's too much angst it might put me off a little. xD; I think I remember reading it once but never getting around to finishing it.

I don't know whether these will suit you and hope you like them :D! At least they're pretty original to me... And I don't usually read manga that's based on high school verse, maybe I've gotten old that I tend to avoid those. I'll try to rec titles that's scanlated or at least licensed, 'cause I've only been reading Japanese volumes I bought.

Yamashita Tomoko's Kuimonodokoro Akira. Yamashita Tomoko's manga are pretty diverse and just so different from the norm, maybe you can check her out? Illumination's pretty good too.

The person above me mentioned Honami Yukine, :D I'm recommending Rin! 'cause it's just so gooood.

Demian Syndrome by Oki Mamiya, the art can take a little getting used to though.

My current favourite high school + fantasy (reading it for the fantasy part) manga is Yami no Kodou by Kada Michiru and Yoshihara Reiko. Yoshihara Reiko's the author who wrote Nijuu Rasen and Ai no Kusabi, both are pretty good light novels with depth. So I was really glad she had a manga of her own. :D

\o/ I forgot about Nakamura Asumiko! If you don't mind her pretty unique artstyle, you can try her Doukyuusei series. :D! The sequel, Sotsugyousei's pretty cute!~

But her best work, to me is still J no Subete, nothing beat dark and angst. *_*!!
