weddings and...erm...bulldozers?

So my babysitter from long forever ago that took piano from my mom starting when she was 7 and then turned into a babysitter and then a driver stopped by our house today. She's getting married in September and I get to play for her wedding

when we were at the doctor's (pediatrician's really)to get my eyes checked they put us in one of the rooms they use to do check ups on babies. they had a bunch of little kids books like Doctor Seuss and stuff. my mom picked out "Are You My Mommy" and decided she wanted to read it out loud. the baby bird searches for its mother and the last thing it finds before its mother is a "Snort" one of those bulldoser crane scoopy digging machines (i'm good with words today aren't i?). when she was reading it i commented on how "Snort" was such a funny name. it just stook out. and then the Snort returns the little birdie to it's nest.

you just reminded me of that...hmmm. i'll be wanting to hear that song sometime...

the elf makes me think of that cartoon movie that the simpson kids watch with the evil baby sitter. wow... babysitters.

Alex had a bit of a drinking problem i think, but is back on his feet now. Nellie graduated from towson this year and moved to arlington for the time being with her husband to be.
