So my babysitter from long forever ago that took piano from my mom starting when she was 7 and then turned into a babysitter and then a driver stopped by our house today. She's getting married in September and I get to play for her wedding.
And I wrote a strange song about bird and bulldozers or something. I find it quite strange that I don't always know how things turn up in songs (tatg, don't know why). (The oddest one, though, would probably still be the bit about the elf that lives in the forest that is lonely but doesn't want company or something like that...yeah.)
But this song was really strange and really hard to write. I got stuck in this loop of Tweedle-deedle-dee's and the same chord progression over and over and over again.
"Tweedle-deedle-dee
can you hear me calling
Tweedle-deedle-dee
once the air is clear
Tweedle-deedle-dee
can you hear the birds sing
Over the bulldozers and"
I like it. Its a fun song to play and sing. And there is this one line that, whenever I get to it, I get chills up and down my spine.
