Space toast survey

It seems that there is a universal constant of grains or roots dried and ground into flour and bread being made. Berries and fruits are also cooked and squashed and preserved, and hot drinks infused from  plants and leaves.  I absolutely love that tea-time is one of the rules of the civilised planets that no-one really changes.

Alas rugby is not ( Read more... )

travel tiips, food choices, rugby, toast, sober but still faulty reasoning

And let's not forget the comely bar-wenches on every planet. The bringers of bread and drink!

So when do you think you'll get here to show me rugby yourself? I'm going to purchase a whole new outfit just for the occasion. What should I look for?

Toast is indeed universal. And whenever a child of any species has an upset digestive system, no matter what the digestive system consists of, mothers force them to eat dry toast.

And you must try the scones on the third moon of Argyte. Lots of tea, though. Because they're dry. Tasty, but dry. Arid, even.

Bring me back a loaf of something! What's the best kind you've tried yet? Has anyone served anything like coffee?

Look at it this way: Rugby could be going badly and you could have to be on duty. As it is you're eating toast and tea and seeing the universe!

Nope, and Barbie is just as bad.

Mostly little touristy handhold size representations of buildings and scenery. I've got about eight pieces that I look at while I'm doing the washing up or waiting for the toast. Bridges are good, people will often sell you a little bridge carving. I had an ornamental palm that turned out to be partly sentient and walked off somewhere, I still haven't found it.

I know a girl
Who thinks of ghosts
She'll make you breakfast
She'll make you toast
She don't use butter
She don't use cheese
She don't use jelly
Or any of these
She uses Vaseline!

I can't believe nobody's sung that already!

Is that a skipping rhyme? There's a Byoom-Ho-Lay skipping rhyme but it's clicks and whistles and Tardy-girl's keyboard only writes those in non-human visible colours...

Eeeeeh, it's hilarious here trying to remember room numbers!
